The Joint MURI Workshop on Ultracold Chemical Reactions will be held November 20th and 21st at UCLA.
This workshop will serve both as a kickoff meeting for our group, and as a review meeting of the MURI on High-Resolution Quantum Control of Chemical Reactions.

The UCLA campus is located in West Los Angeles, near the 405 and 10 Freeways. The main campus is bounded by Sunset Boulevard on the north and Le Conte Avenue on the south; the east border is Hilgard Avenue and the west border is Gayley Avenue.
The closest major airport to UCLA is the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), located approximately 15 miles south of the campus. From LAX, take the 405 Freeway north to the Sunset Boulevard exit. Continue east on Sunset for several blocks, moving into the right hand lane. Make a right turn onto Bellagio Drive and proceed to the stop sign at De Neve Drive. Housing facilities can be accessed from either direction. Sunset Village Parking is to the left and all other residence halls are to the right. Driving time from LAX varies depending on the day of the week and time of day you are traveling. During non-rush hour traffic times, plan on about a 45-minute drive between the campus and LAX; during rush hour traffic, plan on an hour or more. Taxi fare from LAX to campus is approximately $50.
A small block of rooms has been reserved at the UCLA guest house. If you are unable to secure a room at the guest house, there are many other conveniently located hotels:
Each day, breakfast will be served at 8 am and the meeting will begin at 9 am. Lunch will be provided both meeting days. Dinner will be provided during Day 1. The rough schedule is below:
The meeting will be held in the Palisades Room of Carnesale Commons (On De Neve Drive).The map below shows Carnesale Commons and other relevant building highlighted with a red circle. Most of the hotels are within walking distance of Carnesale with the exception of Hotel Angeleno (the Palomar is walkable, but about 25 mins walk).
